1 “Support people at home utilizing the experience of nursing”

Home-visit nursing care service

My first motive for starting this business was that I thought “Is it all right?” when I saw some care staff going to home care. Having a career as a nurse in hospitals and geriatric facilities, I wondered who would take care of ill elderly persons and who would teach the care staff the details of illness and applicable cautions to be taken. High-quality care is available if care staff and nursing staff can work together and it shall enable elderly people to live their lives by their own values in a healthy condition. With such desire, our home care service business was founded. One by one, nurses aiming to actualize such home care gathered together. Then, to care elderly people fluctuating back and forth between hope and grief because of their weakened limbs, the nurses approached to physiotherapists and occupational therapists specializing in rehabilitation. Hence, the business now has become the division where nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists cooperate to support home care services. Our future vision is to educate staff specializing in home care to assist and support elderly people who are sadly looking at their weak and stiff limbs.

2 “Support life at home through combination with home care”  Home care service

Livelihood support is the role of home care service staff. The age of the staff varies from 10’s to 70’s. Many of them have passions such as “I want to support him!” or “I want to be of her help!” The nurses of course have a strong desire to heal the elderly people, however, the desire of the home care staff is even stronger. They notice every little thing in the elderly’s lives and they keep their eyes out for signs of slight anxiety in the corner of the elderly’s hearts. Nursing staff and rehabilitation staff are alert to medical symptoms and home care staff are alert to daily living activities. This is why I thought of working together in home care.

3 “Introduce Japan’s excellent welfare equipment as well as stylish welfare equipment from abroad”

Marketing and rental services of welfare equipment

Welfare equipment provides assistance even when no one is present to assist. For example, a mat that supports rolling over during one’s sleep. A bed that supports one to turn out slowly from the bed. Various types of wheelchairs support people to go anywhere they desire. Utilizing welfare equipment makes life more comfortable and broadens people’s life. Nowadays, robots support care staff as well as elderly people. Welfare equipment from abroad shows the characteristics of the country of origin, being colorful and stylish with creative design. Welfare equipment is our reliable fellow to work with.

4 “Dementia is not a dreadful disease. We want the patients to get back to their normal life.”

People who had enjoyed going out or having tea with their friends now have difficulty going out alone. I heard about their lonely daily life from the nursing staff and care staff and wondered what we can do to help them heal their lonely life and bring back smile in their faces. This was the motive for starting the day care center business.

Reflecting the elderly people’s disabilities in spending normal life and their desire for spending normal life, Normal Life is the concept of the day care center service of Peacecruise. We know that Normal is the most important element in life. Peacecruise is now dealing with “prevention and amelioration of dementia”. We will support people to be themselves and live their normal lives. “Physical and mental activation therapy” is a therapy developed by Mr. Makoto Ogawa over more than 30 years and is performed in many countries around the world. Peacecruise is a designated institution of the “physical and mental activation therapy”. We also engage in educational activities to spread this therapy.

5  “Develop human resources who play key roles in the industry in the future” Education business

Everyone gets old. It is not a special thing. Getting old is a natural extension of normal life. Therefore, we intend to provide services that enable elderly people to maintain their regular daily lives. We hence desired to educate human resources who can share our ambition, which led to the foundation of “C & C Academy”. The first C stands for Cure, which means medical function, and the second C stands for Care, which means life support function. Our business is a specialized work which requires knowledge of care and cure, but we moreover think that human resources who are rich in mind and who can think that other’s happiness is one’s own happiness will play the leading roles in this industry. based on this idea, we started our education business from the year following the establishment of our company. Now, including governmental business and voluntary lectures, the lectures we perform ranges from those for the beginners in elderly care to those on specialized medical care. We also foster foreign care staff.

6 “Serve the industry suffering from shortage of human resources”  Employment agency

Various robots have been developed for nursing care, however, warmth of a human hand tells a lot when giving care to people. We, Peacecruise, have run the training business, C&C Academy, since the founding of the company. Graduates of the C&C Academy will be registered in the “C.C Circle” where they can participate in networking events and study sessions after graduation. The graduates are people who can think of the others’ happiness as their own happiness, just like us. Such are the people whom we want to introduce. We newly started “CoCo Care Work Support” in 2017. Our desire to introduce care workers who offer heartwarming care gave us the boost to start the employment business.

7 “Share our experience with and communicate it to people who are going to start business”

   Consulting service

The 7th Peace is the consulting service business. Starting from care service business ranging to education and employment businesses, we, Peacecruise, have gained various experiences since we set out our ship to the sea 15 years ago. More than 25 years have passed including my career as a nurse before establishing Peacecruise. As an ordinary nurse becoming to run a business, I had many things I didn’t know and which didn’t go on as I intended, but I kept walking along the way I believed in. Think of the best way to take according to the situation. Since this is a business for the benefit of people, we must give top priority to people and their lives. based on this idea we established our corporate philosophy as “Coexistence and accompanying”, and corporate principles as “Life & Join us”. Live a life together and enjoy walking hand in hand together cherishing life. We have hence operated our business and therefore understand better than anyone the anxiety of those who are going to start business - the anxiety about sailing out to the sea. We do consulting that are appropriate to the capability of Peacecruise. We do not conduct consultation that is beyond our capability. We would be happy to be of help in taking steady steps forward, and thus made the consulting business as the 7th Peace.
